I initially trained in costume design at The Guildhall School of Drama in 2016. This was a short course that allowed me to understand how costume designers work as well as the practical elements of ‘breaking down’ costumes for certain scenes.
Then I studied fashion and editorial styling at The London College of Fashion. I wanted to be able to make clothes to a high level and create clothes that I imagined in my head so I studied clothes construction and pattern cutting at Morley College.
I then trained in Professional Sewing Skills at The London College of Fashion.
As for experience I have worked as a volunteer for the theatre production You Me Bum Bum Train. Here I managed the costumes for over fifty actors and helped replace buttons, etc.
I had a different career as a writer and film critic for HeyUGuys many years ago. Here I interviewed actors and travelled around the world on behalf of HeyUGuys and Netflix to interview the cast and crew of different shows.
